Before boarding I found out that we were missing the last flight to our final destination and we would need to wait until the next day to fly out. However, there were no seats for us on the first flight of the next day. I had students in my group who had flights to their hometowns early the next morning, and would miss that flight if they waited. When I boarded the plane, I did not have a solid plan of what we were going to do. The airline told us we would need to talk to the airline when we got to the USA.

Affari Transportation pulled all their resources to ensure that there would be a driver and a very comfortable bus that could get us to our final destination. I am deeply grateful, and will never forget the text that I got when we landed in the USA telling me not to worry that there was a bus at the curb waiting for us.
